Sensory Garden
The Sensory Garden Collection, designed in the year 2000, was and continues to be a focal point for the Friends of the Sale Botanic Gardens.

Constructed by Federal Government ‘Work for the Dole’ scheme, the Sensory Garden was designed to be a safe, tactile space to stimulate the five senses.

The raised beds provide an opportunity for those with mobility challenges to actively participate in hands-on gardening.

The Sensory Garden Collection is a collection of plants focused on horticultural therapy, designed to stimulate the five senses – sight, sound, taste, touch and smell.
