Eucalyptus ID Workshop
Celebrate National Eucalypt Day with this special workshop for gum tree lovers.

To celebrate National Eucalypt Day, Wellington Shire Council is pleased to present this workshop for gum tree lovers.

What’s the difference between a Spotted Gum and a Red Gum?

A Stringybark and an Ironbark?

What does Eucalyptus tereticornis look like?

This is your opportunity to become more familiar with eucalypts in an accessible garden setting in Sale.

In a relaxed and interactive workshop, Jenny Wolswinkel will guide you through the use of bark, leaves and capsules to solve the puzzle of eucalypt identification.

Jenny is a local botanist, seed supplier and author of Eucalypts of the Strzelecki Ranges and surrounding areas. Jenny enjoys sharing her plant knowledge as a way of increasing awareness and appreciation for the natural landscape.
